Use to find companies where this pattern is active.
Two structural conditions align: (1) a multi-year price band exists where the stock has, on at least two separated occasions, stopped declining and bounced upward, and (2) current price is back inside or just above that zone after a meaningful drawdown from peak. The retest is a real one — the stock is not at a new all-time high being measured as a low.
State
Near established support zone
Emergence
Current price has returned to a price band where the stock previously stopped going down on at least two separated occasions, each followed by a real upward reaction. That zone has not been decisively broken since. The retest is happening from a meaningful drawdown rather than from the top of the range.
Limits
This story identifies a structural retest condition, not a buying opportunity. It does not predict that support will hold, indicate timing, or rule out a clean break below the zone. Established support can fail; the next test is a separate event from the prior ones.

Explanation
Each signal represents an independent structural observation: Near Established Support Zone (5y) requires that two or more separated downward moves over the past five years ended in roughly the same price band, each followed by an upward reaction of at least 6%. The zone is invalidated and the signal silenced if a decisive close has occurred below the zone since the last contact. Score reflects how many contacts, how long the span, how tightly the contacts cluster, and how recently the zone was last tested. Drawdown From Peak measures how far current price sits below the highest price in the recent window. A meaningful drawdown confirms the retest is happening from below, not at fresh highs — distinguishing a real support test from a stock that has simply oscillated inside a narrow band. When both align, the description is: established multi-touch support, currently being approached or tested from below.
Interpretation
This story describes structural position, not future direction. It does not assess whether the stock is undervalued, predict that the zone will hold, or recommend action. Some retests bounce, some break — both happen on charts that look identical at the moment of the test.
